One for the Reaper

Shares in Etruscan Resources Inc. rose more than 10 per cent in trading on the Toronto stock market Wednesday after it announced a gold discovery at its Diba property in Mali.

Halifax-based Etruscan's stock rose 38 cents to $4.03 on 394,148 shares traded a day after it announced the "significant" discovery at Diba, 15 kilometres south of the Sadiola Gold Mine.

The company said drilling revealed "exceptionally high grade mineralization" with samples assaying up to 900.5 grams per tonne.

.....and then one day no one talked about Diba anymore.
