RE:RE:First phone call to Talisker today ... I am a shareholder who was given basically 1 share for every for every 5 Sable(Parent Co.)shares I held, if memory serves me correctly. I did accumulate beyond my initial spinout position.. so, yes, I am presently underwater with my position.
Does that mean I'm a bagholder?
Your perspective/opinion does not hurt my feelings as ultimately I am not blaming Talisker mgmt. for my decision not to sell in the first year or for the slowdown in the market which was out of mgmt's control.
Call it what you like but , ultimately, I am responsible for my decision to stay aboard through the recent years of a dropping shareprice. I could have sold for multiple 100's of percent increase and simply put chose not to because I am not a trader but a long holder. Talisker's story is still in the early stage and I fully anticipate to recoup any amount that I am down, presently.
There is a reason why the windshield is so much bigger than the rearview mirror. I must look forward and not live in the past. The market is a great humbler.
Do I wish I had made better decisions? Absolutely.
Am I going to be resentful toward Talisker or their mgmt, sell at a loss and walk away biting my nose off to spite my face? Absolutely NOT!
I AM RESPONSIBLE.
I did manage to pull a little out on past highs but recently have made the decision to buy more at this time and these prices because i still believe in Terry's ability to execute going forward and that Bralorne and other assets will prove themselves profitable at some point in the future.
So put your big boy pants on and make your own decisions as we all should.
Unlike you, I do not have a crystal ball (due to your statement that 'Never again will this stock see >$1', so I cannot tell you exactly how things will play out or how this story ends.
Know that these pennystocks can be some of the most turbulent investments in all of the market. But also remember that the right pennystocks, if given time, can bring some of the highest type of market returns.
Do yourself a favor and call the company to get your answers from the horse's mouth. I am not here to do the work for you. It is a part of doing your due diligence to make your investment decisions.
I provided Matt's phone number and Terry's number can be found on the website.
