Western Copper and Gold Corporation is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in developing the Casino Project. The Casino Project is a copper-gold mining project in Yukon, Canada. The Casino porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum deposit is located in west central Yukon, in the northwest trending Dawson Range mountains, approximately 300 kilometers (km) northwest of the territorial capital of Whitehorse. The Casino project is located on Crown land administered by the Yukon Government and is within the Selkirk First Nation traditional territory and the Tr’ondek Hwechin traditional territory lies to the north. The Casino Property lies within the Whitehorse Mining District and consists of approximately 1,136 full and partial Quartz Claims and 55 Placer Claims acquired in accordance with the Yukon Quartz Mining Act. The total area covered by Casino Quartz Claims is approximately 21,126.02 hectares (ha). The total area covered by Casino Placer Claims is 490.34 ha.

Rio has the clout, the political connections and the money to move things along at a pace that we just don't currently have going-it-alone. We may make friends but they make deals, push them through to completeion and have the money to back it up.  

If we are smart. WRN should immediately pull away from Rio except for requests for continued assistance with these political maneuvers that must happen    

Giving them more undervalued shares in 18 months is absolutely unacceptable. If we allow this status quo, next stop is Rio 12.5%.ownership   While we await a grid announcement...  Every serious shareholder should be contacting WRN. There are no catalysts to protect us especially in this current copper market thanks to China. We are vulnerable in 2024 if Paul and the BOD don't get smarter.
