Methane Emission Reduction

Methane Emission ReductionMethane emission reductions to a new 75% target, will be a lot of work in Canada, but we are essentially 60% there already.

In the U.S.A. that are a lot more common to Flare gas production, allowing them to more quickly bring on production, because they can produce when there is no gas plant available.

Requiring the USA to reduce methane emission will slow down their production, and in many areas like the Eaglesford you can see thousands of wells being flared all the time.

POU has alway been pursuing liquids rich production, and i don't think this will have much of an impact for them. They own some gas plants but not a lot of gas plant, it will impact midstreamers, and good production practices.

POU is super solid, and with cash on the balance sheet and assets and securities on the balance sheet they may one of the most stable companies interms of the balance sheet is all Canadian Energy.

These methane reductions will have a significant impact in my opinion on USA production, as flaring is way more common. I think this will have a impact on energy production and energy prices increase.
