I doubt it.  The retail is left from Sept 2022 is dedicated to this ongoing saga and probably not offsetting other current cap gains as it's not been the greatest of general markets the last couple of years.   sure you can use the loss going back or forward but....

And Blackrock sold out just prior to the takeover but that, in retrospect, seems to have nothing to do with tax loss selling.

and exactly what is "such high levels" for the short position for this 470M share company?
