Something Nice

Something NiceYes, I will say something nice. I caught the repeat of Irwin Simon's interview on BNN today. It was probably one of the best interviews I have seen him give. You could see a couple of times where he thought before he spoke and reined in his horses. (No more predictions of $4 billion in revenue and such). If only he would quit starting every third sentence with his usual "listen". And did he just step out of the shower to do that interview or does he really think that greasy hair look is a good thing for a CEO?

So it looks like Germany has been put on the back burner for now and there is a lack of catalyst in the near future. Tax-loss selling is upon us (of which I am participating) and financial will be out in a month or so. I do not think there will be anything to write home about. I predict that they will be somewhat disappointing (even with the huge amounts of money spent aquiring beer companies to pad the revenue bottom line). My rose-coloured glasses broke years ago. These are just the facts as I see them. Tilray's first hay-day has long past. Many of us Aphria/Tilray shareholders were lucky to have sold some shares in those lofty times. But who believed $39 would turn into $2 ..... again. So goes investing. Perhaps there will be another run up one day. If the company stays solvent it will probably happen. I just don't see it happening anytime in the near future.
