The only O&G E&P company I follow trading lower is TVE down 7.4%.This is not simply tax loss selling. I suspect it's due to the price of oil cratering, worry as to what oil will trade at over the next 6 months, and doubts about what BTE's actual cash flow numbers will be in H1 2024. Buying on dips is a good strategy if you are confident the market is wrong, but sometimes the market is right, and the share price can always go lower still. 52W low for BTE is 3.83. Who thinks the Q4 2023 and Q1 2024 numbers will be stellar? I don't.
