"The Directors must provide a Notice of Meeting to all shareholders entitled to vote not
less than 21 days before each AGM or before the signing of a resolution in lieu of the
AGM.
Each shareholder receiving the Notice of Meeting also receives certain documents
(described in Section II C below) except a shareholder who has informed the corporation
in writing that he or she does not wish to receive a copy of those documenbts (CBCA,
s. 159(1)).
A corporation failing to send the Documents to a shareholder, as prescribed, is guilty of
an offence, and liable on summary conviction to a fine of up to $5,000 (CBCA"
