But when you say that the price is right now because « This company is not showing regular rising profit on it's quarterly financials yet »
I would answer you that we are talking about a small-cap here .... not a big blue chip.
If you are waiting for this company to show regular rising profit on its quarterly reports , it will have been months already that the stock price will have exploded way way up.
You claim that « this company will not have a record of consistent rises in profit and revenues for at least a few quarters….
Can you tell me where you bought your crystals ball….i’m looking for one also
Tony08, I didn;t mean to make it seemt hat the price is where it is at today because of the company showing regular earnings, nothing could be further from the truth.
The stock price is where it is at simply because the balance of the buying pressure and selling pressure ends up in the range it is at. That is undispitable fact, not just for cvx, but for all securities across all regulated exchanges that I know of.
What it should read as, is that the share price is 100% unpredictable, and nobody should be surprised tomorrow if it drops by 10c, or rises by 10c, as Cematrix is currently unprofitable on it's quarterly and annual filings.
This matters to me, because I strongly believe that share price rise is only affected by buying pressure increasing while selling pressure decreases. I do NOT believe that we can predict the direction of that with any company that doesn;t show a regular increase in revenue and cashflow(in particular earnings).
The macro environment has changed drastically, in my own observation, since 2020-2022. No longer am I observing large share price increases based upon a favourable NR and a promise or positive chance of company growth.
What I do believe, is that consistency and predictability of growth in revenue, cashflow, and earnings is the only thing in Canadian micro space right now that can be counted on to attract buying pressure, which, in all honesty, is what all of us shareholders want to happen at some point.
You said the following: "

This is pure fact. The company will need several quarters of of consistent rises in profit and revenues in order to show that it has just that, several quarters of cinsistent rises in profit and revenue. I am NOT saying it will achieve this. I am saying that if that is what will attract the large amount of buying pressure that I believe will have a MAJOR upward pressure on share price, then it cannot be counted on for at least a few quarters, because right now they have zero in a row.
I believe in JEff and Boom and that q4 will be very good on the financials... Heck, it may even provide a positive boost for the hawks that have been waiting for just that, profitability. But, IN MY OWN OPINION, it will take at least 3 quarters of shown regular increases in revenue and profit, and with Cematrix, it might even be years due to the cyclical nature of it's income, being of course much chunkier in certain quarters due to the weather in the winter slowing projects and business.
I have no crystal ball. I have no clue whatsoever where the price will be tomorrow. I am pretty sure that in today's macro environment, regular, consisten rising profit and revenue is what it will take to actually create a predicatable near term share price increase.
Cheers!
