That's a real possibility. Alberta's 'green' lithium brine, and existing infrastructure is an advantage to many jurisdictions, especially foreign jurisdictions like Panama - re: First Quantum's current mess, and Chile's ambiguous plans to nationalize their Li industry. We also have POSCO's recent MOU with Invest Alberta. That has no doubt put the spotlight on Alberta. As I mentioned in a previous post, it's budget time for most companies, and I wouldn't be surprised if companies are allocating dollars to Alberta in 2024. Investing in this underheated Li market makes a lot of sense, especially when it takes several years to actually bring new production on line.
