RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Still think... BNE should do a deal in 2024. They don't have to but they should.
BNE makes decent money at 75.00 oil and 2.50 gas
The ARO costs don't matter. They never did much except to a few flavour of the day bankers and now they are down to Immaterial
I bought BNE and OBE after the merger didn't go through. Both companies are lucky that it didn't. OBE would have tanked with all the debt and they wouldn't have been in a position to buy out their Chinese partner. BNE would have disappeared.
YGR is a massive destroyer of capital that keeps rinsing and repeating. Your focus on ARO is a classic example of useless misdirection that the company uses. Wow look, we won't have to abandon as many wells in the next 20 years. Not wow look at our well results, free cash flow or consolidation results. There is a reason National Bank, their biggest banker who just "haapened" to recommend the stock, bailed on them.
BNE has much better land. Full stop.
The Montney can be drilled out for the next decade or they can develop and flip it for YGR's market cap.
lets see what numbers for both companies look like going into 2024. I have been fishing for BNE and a couple of others during tax loss selling season. I have placed my bets. You?
