RE:RE:All about deliveries True... Bombardier's focus should be on long term, but long-term is made of lots of short-terms bunched together. Why some of us following the delivery rate would have any impact on what Bombardier is thinking? (this question is for Club)
Discussing deliveries, in this very 'highly seasonal rate of delivery' Q4, is only something we can keep track of baring any other news from the company. I too would prefer a more regular delivery rate.
I don't think that what we do here as any impact on how Bombardier is trading (its shares) or what their focus is on, information is information. be it debt, production, or new endeavors.
From the looks of it most users who seems to follow the delivery rate looks like they're longs. Of courses some tradng doofuses try to use it to instill doubts but hey, it's tough to control disinformation in all facets of life these last 5 to 10 years.

I can add that the highly seasonal rate of deliveries is the problem. Negative FCF the first half on the year and a bonanza of cash in Q4.
If they were able to adopt a more regular scedule, the focus could be different.
Imagine a regular 12 jets a month scedule. The stock would lost its volatility and would fly higher.
Can they do things differently? I don't know.
