In the bigger picture for Suncor, Best Western announced today that it is adding Tesla EV charging stations at select hotels throughout North America beinning in 2024.
I expect that it won't be long until Tesla EV chargers will be offered at all 4,300 Best Western hotels as hotel owners won't want to be left behind. " This collaboration with Tesla underscores BWH Hotels’ unwavering commitment to sustainability and dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences." Best Western joins Hilton in offering EV charging to guests. In September, Hilton
announced that it would be offering guests Tesla EV chargering at 2,000 of its hotels by early 2024. It won't be long until every hotel will have to offer EV charging in order to remain competitive. Then it will be big box stores and restaurants and and and and.
Range anxiety was an obvious concern for potential early adopters for EV owners. That fear is rapidly dissipating as new chargers are added.
EV's are cheaper to buy, safer to drive, never require oil or brake changes, never have battery issues so no more "my car won't start" mornings, can be charged at home for pennies while you sleep, receive updated technology and " fixes" over the air, and are a whole lot of fun.
For the life of me, I don't understand EV haters.
