Artis Real Estate Investment Trust is an unincorporated closed-end REIT based in Canada. Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

BMO has already been engaged, so they likley need to be involved in any dispositions at this point forward (or you run into issues with conflicts of them not being involved etc)

but likely, it's part of  the bigger strategy wiht BMO. sell x,y,z and youre left with A,B (privatize at that point).

this is likely a stepping stone in a larger plan of attack


it's not quite as easy as Gary would like to have it appear. just go out and sell $3,000,000 of assets and return the money to investors

this is a difficult plan and it'll take some steps to execute (each of these assets are quite different classes, so will take different buyers and different appraoches to sell)
