Miners denounce that they were excluded from the meeting to delimit Santurbn

They claim that they were not summoned to a meeting in California on December 5.


Bucaramanga With a disciplinary complaint that was filed before the Attorney General's Office,denounced 9 officialsand local.departmental , national government of the who are part of the Great Bargain for California

The complaint, which was also notified to the attorney general for mining, energy and agricultural matters, was filed because the miners who are in the process of formalization claim that they were not taken into account in the recent meeting for the delimitation process participatory of the Pramo de Santurbn, convened on last December 5.

 

Fabio Maldonado, mining leader of the municipality of California, Santander, assured that they were not called al meeting convened by the ministries of Environment and Mines.

 

They claim that in this process they were physically and verbally attacked and that apparently the meeting did not touch on fundamental issues in around the delimitation of the moor and the formalization of small miners.

 

The disciplinary complaint points to the representatives of the Ministry of Mines, Environment, Genny Gamboa, mayor of California, officials of the National Mining Agency, the CDMB and the legal representative of the municipality of California.
