RE:RE:Due DiligenceOld publications and interviews made it sound like it is Mueller that gave birth to this whole wastewater energy recovery industry through his dreams after watching hot water go down his kitchen sink. Maybe he believed in his own dream but certainly the concept of energy recovery from wastewater had been something that had been researched for decades before. And clearly there is tons of competition from various different technologies....just because he doesn't know what they all are throughout the world does not mean they don't exist.
But, whatever, there is no one company that will serve and monopolize this market, and Sharc can be successful. But they can only be successful if they can sell their technologies. Sales orders have not been flooding their office just yet, despite their expression of continual expectations which have continually been pushed out. Hanspaul urged the audience in his last presentation to be on the lookout over the next 6 months to start seeing their bid pipeline materialize. I think it has been a couple of months since that presentation and nothing yet. In other words, this is not a kind of stock one should invest in anticipation of things hitting the sales revenue financial statement line. I did so half a dozen years ago, and lost most of my investment. That goes for many companies out there that don't have much of a track record of commercial sales.
