RE:RE:Were the lithium coming from ???It is true that these are not set in stone and governments can change and populist a55ki$$sers could try and further bury their heads up the backsides of big oil both to get elected and to remain elected and well funded, fed and watered by their lobbyists. And until range anxiety and all the battery life, charge time. replacement cost shocks, network woes subside there is a lot of appetitie to go back or just KEEP blowing C02 out the tailpipes. Many normal folks with a 2-10 year old ICE vehicle are in no hurry to make a switch.
But as technology gets better and the convenience improves and the costs come down which they will then the public appetite will be be the parade and the politicians will run to march in front of it. Maybe not in Alberta but that is a whole other story. If the Toyota battery and similar live up to the hype and further improve then we have a game changer on our hands. If that Lithium can be further recycled and reused then even better.
If you don't push hard you won't get anywhere. If you don't push at all you will go backward or stay put.
