dissappointing results: 12.18.2023 News ReleaseCollected & assayed 670 rock (means in-place bedrock, we assume?) samples, and the max was 0.62% LiO2. Ouch.
338 till samples collected and 'still being tested'. Wny the focus on till? the News Release says "approximately 75% of the property is covered by glacial and aluvial sediment." Says the LIDAR is processed and will be used to help refine 2024 exploration, and that they are looking for blind pegmatites.
I haven't read of anyone looking at till sand as a way to track spodumene back to its source. Figure 3 of the news release indicates a washed sample. I note that other players in the James Bay Li pegmatite hunt show outcrop and boulders with BIG spodumene crystals, not little tiny ones. Maybe Figure 3 displays samples that were 'processed' by auger? IDK.
Chasing blind pegmatites that're beneath sediment - that's a rough one to sell to investors who wan't to see pegmatite at surface - kinda like hunting Au deposits with soil sampling surveys.
