The TSX and the major American indices hit fresh 52-week highs in a broad rally. The TSC rose 1.04% with every sector gaining except tech. 

Major movers included Cenovus up 2.37%, TD 1.95%, Canfor soaring 12.34%, Interfor 11.8% and West Fraser Timber 10.17%. WTI climbed 1.35% to $73.50 a barrel.

On Wall Street, the S&P closed 0.45% higher, the Nasdaq 0.66% to 15,000, and the Dow added 0.52%. major movers ran across various. Pfizer rebounded 3.66%, Tesla1.78% as the most-traded name, Illumina 7.75%, Estee Lauder 4.47% and Walgreens 4.34%. The U.S. 10-year yield edged down to 3.92% while Bitcoin slipped 1% to $42, 200.
