RE:RE:Class Action Certification Hearing Jan. 15, 2024

RE:RE:Class Action Certification Hearing Jan. 15, 2024Very true, and that is what I hope will happen if this goes to trial.

Unfortunately, it hasn't stopped the Class Action from getting Certified this past Jan/Feb 2023 against the Ontario Government who are now appealing the Certification.

This is after Bill 218 was passed in 2020.

I agree with you, this should not go anywhere, but the problem is, it's moving forward as Certificatin means it will go to Trial, unless the Ont. Gov. wins its appeal.

So, my concern is short term, if the Class Action get Certified against SIA and other operators, what effect if any, will it have on share price.  Ultimately, I highly doubt the Courts will pass Judgement and award the Plaintiffs that kind of money.

It's not right.  IMO, the Courts should never have Certified the CA against the Ont. Gov. in the first place.  Hopefully, they'll be more lenient towards the Operators who were only following WHO guidelines to begin with.
