RE:RE:EV battery situation - what a mess!Ditto
driving and enjoying low maintenance EV is akin to a young teenager living a carefree life of boozing and smoking only to pay later in life with serious health problem and shortened life. With ICE, it's paying a little bit more in maintenace (fluid change, brake pads) as you go and not get stuck with a surprise huge bill later on. Of course, in all sales and marketing, it is much more attractive to sell on instant gratification than full cycle benefit.

- WHAT is HE complaining about ?
- he has ONLY BEEN paying DIRECT GASOLINE FUEL COSTS during this ENTIRE ONE-YEAR PERIOD and getting the rental car FOR FREE on behalf of Nissan
- the RENTED CAR performs a LOT BETTER than his Nissan Leaf EV
- IF I were him, I would IMMEDIATELY SELL IT after the BATTERY IS REPLACED and IF NOT POSSIBLE; I would DEMAND that Nissan BUY ME OUT
- STICK to RELIABLE and AFFORDABLE ICE vehicles !
