It is as if there was a concerted effort by our dear leaders to smother what is left of our wealth creating industrial or natural ressources to bring us to a third world country level.
For instance, I find it breathtaking that 3 individuals ( Trudeau, Guilbeault and Legault in quebec ) can compel more than 44 million canadians to buy only battery powered car from 2035 and after without any consultations, surveys or referendum, in spite of all the hundreds of billions of dollars this transition will cost.
For whatever whim they have against this industry, they can trow a wrench in the canadian oil industry gears as often as they like under the pretext of having been elected by us thus giving them free reign to decide whatever they want.
This adventurous road they are trying to lead us to is too uncertain, to follow these guys like a bunch of lemmings . We need real unfiltered data about all this ''fast coming cataclyst'', and then a referendum on this ridiculous ban of affordable gasoline automobiles The people will then decide on this too important step of society; not the three amigos.
By the way, according by scientists also, the earth went through warming cycles a few times already, when cars were not even an idea and when the hydrocarbons we use in our cars were still breathing and running.
