( 4 obviuos resons).... know they thing the solution to improve this is battery farms.. so knot to enviornmenta, and lithium could play a huge factor in this. solar and wind is knot cheaper than fas or coal fired gens.... far from it.... its bieng subsidized.... bottom line....ev conversion has a huge hurddle.... infrastructure to charge the cars.... ie. to fast charge meye new 2 tonne electric truck, eye needed a new 400 amp/ 480v service... costed 70 k to upgrade.... now if everybuddy in my acerage block upgraded the same the lines would crash.... do the math cup.... do the math.... who pays for this?
