Hercules Metals Corp., formerly Hercules Silver Corp., is a Canada-based exploration company. The Company is focused on developing Idaho's newest copper and silver district. The 100% owned Hercules Project, located northwest of Cambridge, hosts the recently discovered Leviathan porphyry copper system. The Hercules Property represents 8,850 acres consisting of one patented lode claim, 416 unpatented lode claims and approximately 1,165 acres of mineral rights owned in fee. Based on my estimates,  we are still on track to receive the assays for hole 8, and nothing suggests to me they are holding on to the results.  

There is also no reason to delay the 3d IP, since Chris Paul (CEO) already commented very positively on the preliminary data, which actually doesn't differ a lot from the final 3d data based on experience from people in the field.

There's always a chance that the company made a decision not to release the 3D IP until hole 8 results are in or vice-versa to provide a more comprehensive news release.  Or, and even less likely as Chris Paul suggested IP to be likely ready around Christmas,  he made the decision to wait until after the New Year.

I don't believe Barrick has any say when assays are released or not.  BIG makes those decisions and only shares assay results with Barrick, once they are publicly released.
