ATH or BTE which is more speculative?I would argue that ATH 'was' a speculative oil stock. It took a lot of 'belief' to buy when it was troubled.
It takes very little now and the price action reflects that. Asset is proven, debt resolved, long cash, and spits off unencumbered FCF.
BTE is far more speculative at this point and the price action reflects that. Eagle Ford asset is yet to be proven, debt is massive, not long cash, and all FCF is encumbered. The only insider selling (Oct) was the head of the Eagle Ford business unit. If it was so crystal clear, an obvious slam dunk, why wouldn't Gwaltney have held onto the 300K shares she sold? She could borrow money at 6% on margin but chose to sell stock instead.
