RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:One step up, two steps downI think you are on to something gal. Today did really hurt. Gold is at an all time high, if you remove the very short lived spikes. And Endeavour can't catch a bid. And we can talk all we want about all the money, all the wonderful properties, all the great amazing future prospects, but here we are. My own theory is that it is a fundamental problem, that with EDV shares almost all owned by a few individuals, and a few large funds, almost no retail holders, it is too vulnerable to the whims of those funds and people. A fund like Blackrock , who own a lot of EDV, probably doesn't much care about the long term prospects, or even the short term balance sheet, and just adjusts their holding as their other business dictates. Seems to me that everytime EDV does under perform the market it is probably becasue Blackrock is selling off some shares.
So I have decided to get out. I got in at 7 bucks a share a long time ago, so am happy enough. But I am tired of these funds dictating things.
So gal, I see you said on Mar 25, 2022 that: "I am done with this useless stock. Buybacks, dividends, FTSE100, great reports. Nothing helps. The selling pressure is too high. Too many shares in play. I am done. I sell everything."
Did you then? I am curious what you bought instead or did you give up on the gold thing all together? I notice you don't post on anything except EDV.
Do you have any suggestions as to a good company? I want to stay in gold, as have faith going forward.
