Could only compare it to perceived "store of value" strategy, historically Gold's main purpose (hedge against inflation for example). Just saying that new gen of investors don't care much for gold.
Yes, I am invested in Bitcoin/Crypto companies (but mostly Oil, Gold, Copper co's).
It's very volatile. Not for the faint of heart. My son got me into it. Didnt even know what it was untill a few years ago. Gave him a gold coin for xmas one year, first thing he asked was "can i sell it to buy some bitcoin" (believe it was trading for $10,000 at the time). But you need to watch it closely and take profits out quicker. Can be profitable because the large movements. But can go the other way on you quickly as well. Tight stops required.
