RE:RE:RE:10 year bond yieldsYeah this is how i see it too, it's too defensive a sector to share beta w other growth sensitive sectors.. Look how it fared during 2016-2018 cycle. It's only major drawdown was when things were getting REALLY bad late 2018 and after all, in a "crash" all correlations go to 1 anyways.. only reason it followed suit eventually.
