Artis Real Estate Investment Trust is an unincorporated closed-end REIT based in Canada. Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

No losses crystalised.....  Chartwell is up almost 50%, starting the year below 8 bucks. 

you don't think there's a game plan, you can't see any value,  you don't see the opportunity in realizing full IFRS AV on asset dispositions?  Why not write off your losses and move on?

This is still a recovery play and there are a lot of moving parts.  I'm not as confident as other posters, but I think potential for losses is far outweighed by near 100% upside potential if all goes well.
