RE:RE:RE:RE:MiningIR speaks with Pascal Hamelin with Abcourt MinesFbedard, at the beginning of this process, it may be only involve a few thousand tonnes of ore from the SG mine. But unlike the Elder mine, the SG ore is mostly of a higher grade and there is no transportation expense involved in getting the ore up a shaft and into the mill.
I am hoping that a good exploration campaign at the Flordin and the Discovery deposits will also find some higher grade resources, perhaps comparable to what the amount that the Elder mine may have initially had at its beginning. What a mine that could become!
With a higher gold price and with the continuing low cost of fuel, Abcourt would stand to benefit greatly if another mine could be established in an easterly direction.
The southwesterly Elder mine may yet have more potential in the future. But that remains to be determined. And after Discovery and Flordin, the Pershimex properties exploration may likely take precedence over further exploration at Elder.
Newer potential mines may be the best ones to seek after first!
In any case, eventually Abcourt Mines will be using a hub and spoke strategy to keep its mill filled in the coming years and to keep the gold, strongly pouring! Growth could become exponential!
There is a glut of oil on the market. And any talk of a lack of supply would amount to a lot of nonsense!
So fuel should remain cheap for the forseeable future! It's all good for Abcourt!
Let's keep our fingers crossed!
All the best! Java
