RE:Jono Lawrence on You tubeInteresting interview with the Endeavour EVP for exploration. One thing that caught my eye is that they were planning 70,000 m of drilling, but now upped that to 180,000m, a lot of drilling, with the increase because of the results this year. And they are moving ahead with all the PFS stuff. To early for them to say, but they will finish a couple builds this year, and be all ready to start something new early 25?
I have said it before here, that Tanda-Iguela reminds me of Fekola in Mali, that B2 Gold operates. It appears to be of a similar size, and similar conditions re mining methods, grade, etc. Fekola had, maybe still does, ridiculously low cash costs on production. The build cost about half a billion. Fekola took about 2 1/2 yrs from prelim. work to production. And some might say that Cote d'Ivoire is a better spot than Mali.
If my surmising is somewhat accurate, T-I could all by itself make EDV a 2 million oz producer, all low cost/ long life. Can understand why Endeavour is excited, the share price not so much. I have no idea when this might start to get priced in share price wise. Three years , if that is what it is, is a long time to wait, for shareholders, but when/if this goes a total rerating would be in order.
