Oncolytics Biotech Inc T.ONC

Alternate Symbol(s):  ONCY

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. is a biotechnology company. The Company is focused on developing pelareorep, an intravenously delivered immunotherapeutic agent that activates the innate and adaptive immune systems and weakens tumor defense mechanisms. This compound induces anti-cancer immune responses and promotes an inflamed tumor phenotype turning cold tumors hot through innate and adaptive immune responses to treat a variety of cancers. This improves the ability of the immune system to fight cancer, making tumors more susceptible to a broad range of oncology treatments. The Company’s primary focus is to advance its programs in hormone receptor-positive / human epidermal growth factor 2- negative (HR+/HER2-) metastatic breast cancer and advanced/metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma to phase 3 licensure-enabling studies. In addition, it is exploring opportunities for registrational programs in other gastrointestinal cancers through its GOBLET platform study.

RE:San Diego

RE:San Diegohad the misfortune of speaking with tim mccathy, one of oncy's investor relations contacts listed at the bottom of today's release.  first tried jon patton who was listed as the director of investor relations and communication.  called multiple times letting it ring with no answer.  i then decided to let it ring until i was disconnected or got some type of "answer".

when the phone did pick up, got a message that jon's phone could not take any calls and that if i knew the extension of another employee to enter it and if not then dial zero to talk to an operator.

dialed zero and got a message the operator was not available and that i would be connected with an alternate operator upon which i got a message that the alternate operator was also not available.

that's when i called mccarthy.  mccarthy confirmed to me that andrew was gone and when i ask if he had a replacement mccarthy said well that's just been recently.  i then ask if there was any plan to replace andrew and mccarthy ask why that was of any interest to me.

i ask mccarthy if obus was going to rent another office in san diego and he said what do you mean.  i replied that the obus office was vacant and up for rent and he ask where did you see that.

i responded the building had listed the obus space for rent and ask if it was oncy's intent to rent another office in san diego.  mccarthy said not sure why that is of any interest to you to which i responded that since oncy had opened the san diego office for the purpose of developing business relationships here in the u.s. it seemed to be something an investor would find of interest.

i said to mccarthy it would seem like oncy would have done some type of press release on this matter and mccarthy replied there was no press release or sec filing because andrew was neither an officer or director of the company.

ask mccarthy if he could get me an answer about the office and remaining employee situation in san diego and he said he would.  he had captured my number on his phone and i gave him my name letting him know i was an oncy shareholder here in the u.s.

i had to go to town and ask my wife to field a call from mccarthy if he did call back today.  she is also a shareholder in the company.  mccarthy did call back and was quite rude.  after confirming to me that andrew was in fact gone,  he then danced around with some b.s. saying maybe he wasn't "officially gone".  to which my wife said he is either gone or he isn't.

my wife ask about employees in san diego and mccarthy said there was a cmo and a couple of other employees and that they were relocating but he couldn't/wouldn't say where.

my wife told mccarthy that andrew's linkedin page still showed he was president of obus in san diego to which mccarthy said "these things take time".  she reminded him that he had told me that andrew was definitely gone and mccarthy said something to the effect that maybe he hadn't  reached his actual departure date as a reason for andrew not updating his linkedin information.  she said it takes one day to which mccarthy replied you are asking questions which are irrelevant.

she said that maybe it needed to taken up with canada and he hung up on her.

if oncy is actually paying for these clowns it is money wasted.

at no point did mccarthy say anything we ask of him was confidential or something which could not be discussed because oncy was in some type of blackout period.

he only comeback to our questions was something to the effect of why is that of any interest to you or your questions are irrelevant.
