Deal Making

Deal MakingLooks like Barrick might take a run at First Quantum. They are looking hard at it but also all big miners are looking to increase their copper output and no better way than to just buy it. Let someone else do the heavy lifting and then move in with the cash.
IVN is a top dog now with what is going on but you will need deep pockets to turn RF's head to even look at a deal.
You have BHP with a valuation of about 175 billion so for them to fork out 40/50 billion for all of IVN is within their wheel house.
I believe Barrick's valuation is about 30 billion.
If these big players feel copper is going to increase as the years go by then buying IVN now would be a steal.
The problem is that IVN's value is going up and up as they keep hitting high grade with the drill bit.
Pretty soon no one will be able to buy them. Maybe a couple of players team up to buy them out.
This year should be the year that everything breaks loose. You have new mines starting up and the drill bit will be turning just about everywhere.
I want to see what the drill bit hits when they drill the unknown blob at Platreef. If it's nickel and I believe it is then the stock will explode when they release the core results. IVN knows it's big but we just have to wait a bit for those results. Results will be out sometime in 2024.
