Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. is a Canada-based mining, development, and exploration company. The Company is focused on the mining, development and exploration of minerals and precious metals from its property interests located primarily in Africa. Its projects include The Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex, The Kipushi Project, The Platreef Project., and The Western Foreland Exploration Project. The Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex project stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, approximately 25 kilometers (km) west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 km west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. The Kipushi mine is adjacent to the town of Kipushi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) approximately 30 km southwest of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. The 21 licenses in the Western Foreland cover a combined area of 1,808 square kilometers to the north, south and west of the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex.

Mentioned this before, but according to The World Bank, the "......DRC is among the five poorest nations in the world. In 2022, nearly 62% of Congolese, around 60 million people, lived on less than $2.15 a day. About one out of six people living in extreme poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa lives in DRC...."

The country's armed forces are also very weak and have trouble pushing back incursions into their country which are currently confined to the east and some rural areas.

Question: How long before there's an uprising where the poor in the country (who likely didn't vote in the recent election) begin demanding that the government finance needed basic infrastructure and services in the many impoverished areas of the nation where conditions are horrible for them and their children and the government decides to fund such needs via raising taxes / royalties / ownership share in foreign companies engaged in natural resource extraction in the country....?
