Far less shorts than mid-December. My guess is the activity this week was another round of shorting. Not alot of dollar value, however, the volumes on this stock have been above most of the year's average this last month or so.
This is what happens when a company loses investor confidence. The drill program hasn't been as successful as the market intially expected a few years ago. I beleive good drill results will be the only way to get out of this valuation. I don't see Agnico making a takeout bid yet, as they have been able to participate in the private placements more economically. Eventually, they will likely make a bid, as Agnico's existing resources aren't infinite and they will need to aquire more resource for long term survival. I see 2024 as a make it or break it year for Wallbridge.
