RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:The Freedom of Speech comes with a right to NOT listenIt is truly amazing that so much misinformation could be contained in only seven words - "The 14th Amendment was about confederates, period".  Please take the time to read the fourteenth amendment, section 3 and you will not find the word confederate mentioned even once.  In fact, dozens if not more, “confederates” held public office in later years, but unlike Donald J. Trump, they had not betrayed an oath of office to protect the constitution and the Nation.  A slight difference!

Try to understand that Trump’s refusal to the peaceful transfer of power is what disqualifies him from ever holding office again.  That’s the operative part of the section and that’s the part you try to gloss over.
