Hercules Metals Corp., formerly Hercules Silver Corp., is a Canada-based exploration company. The Company is focused on developing Idaho's newest copper and silver district. The 100% owned Hercules Project, located northwest of Cambridge, hosts the recently discovered Leviathan porphyry copper system. The Hercules Property represents 8,850 acres consisting of one patented lode claim, 416 unpatented lode claims and approximately 1,165 acres of mineral rights owned in fee. Layering

LayeringHercules Silver has published cross sections showing layered Quartz porphyry (pink) and volcanics (green).  The simplest interpretation for the layers is Quartz porphyry dykes/dikes coming off the mother intrusion.  Dykes usually extend upwards from below but they can also have a huge horizontal component.  They can act as conduits/zones of weakness for later mineralization.

I will speculate that everything we have seen to date is dyke related and that we haven't even begun to see the main intrusion yet.  This would explain the weird Bornite accummulation on top of the phyllic alteration.

I am very interested to see what the southern deep holes uncover.  Soil geochem says there is a lot of Copper to the SE.
