RE:Potassic zone

RE:Potassic zoneRetiredgeo,

This dinstinctive reddish/pink hue of the potassic core can be observed in hole 21 from around 2500-2977 feet (especially visible up to 2800 feet).

Perhaps the Geos on this board can chime in here. I'm putting this out for discussion. How do you know you are in the intense potassic center visually? I've asked a Geo and looked on line to compare against other high grade copper cores. Answer: "The potassic alteration often imparts a reddish and pinkish hue to the rocks due to the presence of altered potassium feldspar. This distinctive coloration is a key visual indicator". In hole 21, from the 2500 - 2977' (and more abundantly to 2800'), I am seeing this distinctive "pinkish/reddish hue". It is best viewed from the high resolution core photos provided by the company. This pink/reddish hue is not visible anywhere else in the core, but in this non-assayed interval. Did they see something deep in hole 21 for them to place hole 26 where it is? I am pasting one of the better photos of this pink/reddish hue here for a visual - see the core just above the measuring tape especially. "
