RE:RE:New Press Release - Ivanhoe Mines Provides 2023 Production Results and 2024 Production Guidance for the Kamoa-Kakula Copper ComplexWith this news release I understand better where all that money goes from the recent share sales. $200M to further upgrade the grid explains a lot. However, 40% discount on power consumption will represent a ridiculously low C1 cash cost for some time to come. I don't know how long it will take to "eat up" $200M plus interest worth of power but I suspect it will be years. Wonder if the projected C1 cost will be updated based on this new deal or it has been baked in already.
and there is the new rail line that will reduce costs too. Don't know what to say... mind boggling, amazing!
