RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:HUGE increases in Short PositionsHi DJ,

I am of the belief that the BPY prefs are the best proxy for BPY trading sentiment as the BPO prefs are generally much less liquid.  But the BPO prefs are buried much deeper in the structure.

I am of the conviction that Brookfield knows how to fix things and they will fix BPY.  But it is going to be rocky and the Junk rating in December was a huge disappointment and has left me less convicted.

I am of the conviction that BN would view the BPO prefs as part of their permanent capital base.  We should all remember that BPY didn't guarantee anything for the DTLA pref shares (that have gone to zero) but the BPO prefs have the guarantee of BPY.  That is, I believe the BPO prefs are as good as any of the BPY prefs.  Ironic that this BPO pref spiral  all started with the DTLA prefs last February.

Have a great night,
Carena
