RE:RE:RE:RE:Any posters have a timeline to sell off fossil fuel stocks? There would be other options. I think they were considering something like a hydrogen fuel cell train or something like that. The tech needs to be advanced a bit further. There's also the bio-diesel option as well. All that dead matter that collects in forests at risk of catching fire (as forests do naturally from time to time) could be harvested to create a bio-fuel feedstock to run the remaining equipment that requires it.
But yeah it's not going to happen right away, and it's going to take lots of money, and oil will continue to be used for decades to come. Globally humans are still just trying to bend the upwards demand curve on oil, never mind getting off of it.
