Ideally we see more institutions moving in to lock up shares.  Right now we have too many flakey day-traders who run whenever they hear someone say "BOO".. lol.. seriously, I think it's that bad.

Anyhow, institutions do not tend to jump in and out and they suck up alot of shares.  If they move in they will choke down the available float and likely place shorts in a position where they have little to no choice but to cover / buy back their short positions.

If it occurs within a short period of time then it will be one of those days where everyone is saying "I don't understand why the shareprice is going up, what's going on?" etc etc etc

It's market mechanics and its a fun / interesting thing to speculate on.  If / When it strikes is another story.

All the best

Insiders can do this as well, assuming a number of them buy collectively and pull in a good number of shares off the open-market.  This is a two-pronged bullish mover as

#1 - They Choke the Float

#2 - Insider Buying is always seen as Bullish by the Market
