RE:RE:Pandemic's Silver Linings for the GH gang................Thank you for a great morning chuckle Nukester.
And yes I learned long ago that supplying picks and shovels and food and donkeys to gold prospectors was a great business...far less risky than prospecting itself
I also learned from someone smarter than me that a "pumps and valves business" is very investable...basic stuff businesses need .....I think I mentioned in the past that i also accumulated a significant position in Chemtrade after it "crashed" at the same as GH and for the same reason... I owned both before the crash and piled in as much as I could knowing they would rebound.
If you need more convincing...look at Hammond Power Solutions HPS ...over the last three years.
HPS manufactures and distributes power transformers ....totally unsexy business, like CHE...just reliably churns cash year over year. In the last three years HPS went from about $5 to $85 on anticipation of electrical infrastructure renewal and expansion.
Don't have any....looked at it years ago and it had a decade or so long history of a sub $5 stock...then lost track until I saw its meteoric rise written about.
Was not surprised
Still, don't for a minute think I know what I am doing
I remember looking at Constellation Software at $112 and thinking it was overvalued :>)

Malx,
You sir are the definition of an eternal optimist!
You are always seeing the upside, just up ahead and around the corner!
I got to thinking... how would others answer the proverbial question of the glass being half full or empty?
Malx : Glass is half full kind of guy
Bridge: Glass is 50.0001 % full according to his calculator.
Barstoolsage: Sensing a trend, quietly accumulates Corning glass works.
Kasking: Has teams from KPMG and Deloitte study the matter.
Cpeczek: Makes a custom beer mug from maple than forgets the question.
Nukester: Walks the trailer park, "Who stole my water?"
Hope I did not forget anybody,
Nukester
