Anybody out there?
Anybody out there?Wow, first post here from anyone in 10 months! Value can be found when no one is looking. US mine, low PE, nice dividend, skilled management. The primary knock on the company is that the only mine will run out of open pit ore next year. However, it is now clear that another mine, perhaps more, trucking distance away (was it 30 miles?) will be opened by then. There is also some indication that the open pit could possibly be converted into an underground, as they found the structure that fed the gold to the existing mine. The company has issued guidance of 40k ounces per year, but surpassed that in 2022, and it appears (we will find out later this year) that they also surpassed that number in 2023. Management is keeping share count pretty flat; little to no option dilution, if I recall. The old $2000 ceiling for gold is now the floor. The market cap for this stock is too small for institutional money. I have been in this stock since the GORO spin-off. I count myself fortunate to have been able to accumulate last year, and plan to continue that for this year. Is there anyone else here?
