RE:Why Dividend

RE:Why DividendCould'nt agree more wingod46.  At least anyone who has continued to save their monthly dividend does have some return on their investment.  Its a forgone conclusion in most cases it hasn't covered the present loss in share value but its at least a partial return.  I too would prefer to own a company who pays  dividend and I certainly am not as invested in the stock as most out here but it does, at this point, supplement my monthly pension income. I was self employed in the service business for 30 years so I don't have a company pension and as most know when its time to call it quits there is very little money in the sale of a service company, and I was no exception.  I can't help but think we all will recover and we are long overdue for a surge similar to September of last year.  I will continue to hold as overall this is a well run company and hope at the same time we continue buy backs and not continue to buy.
