RE: What Martello’s new CEO needs to bring to the table:My concern is whether they have an offering that they can work with. Time is passing by, everything technological is evolving rapidly and may be to the point where the vision or the need for DM Vantage's offering is as extinct is dinosaurs. Now, I am not a techy, but I think it would be hard for someone to argue this compellingly given the sales.
Based on the revenues so far, licence fees per user are in cents. And the number of users given that MSFT is supposedly helping with marketing it is rather paltry. Paltry # of users, paltry revenue per user = MTLO's legacy business declining at a faster rate than the new flagship product is growing =
1.5 cent stock.
Need someone to come in that will in the first news release say: this is what the market needs and that is what we are going to develop and sell like hotcakes. (Selling something that saves a multi-national company money the size of a medium company CIO's salary just does not size like a compelling business case.) And we are rebranding every offering and the company as a whole. And this person, an innovative and an already accomplished young individual, is going to be my right hand person to build a company that is going to issue regular news releases about its business successes.
One can dream.
