FDR mgmt team earns another bouquet – Part IIIn yesterday’s post I discussed the first half of FDR’s current corporate slide deck, noting how well it tells our story. Today, let me complete the tour through management’s vivid showcase of our firm’s achievement and its near-term potential. The first half of the show builds investor interest and curiosity, but the second half really knocks our socks off.
https://www.fdrmetals.com/_resources/presentations/corporate-presentation.pdf?v=0.112 After displaying the satellite image of our property (p7) with the various zones super-imposed for convenience, the deck then presents (p8) the same image with the auger sampling record displayed. Now FDR’s possibilities truly spring to life before our eyes. The most telling feature, as has been mentioned elsewhere by others including me, is that remarkable 8km long gold trend.
Next, we zoom in (p9) on the Upper Antino zone, where all the current action is taking place. This is where we are shown both a) the nearby open pits, where the artisanal miners have been hard at work successfully for decades, and b) the tailings piles, already proven to be valuable gold resources in their own right. As if the drill results themselves (also detailed here, by hole location) weren’t convincing enough.
The following two slides (p10-11) probably appeal most to professional geologists, or at least to those specialist investment advisors who have made a lucrative career of interpreting geo data. For amateurs like me, however, this pair of colourful, evocative pages without doubt helps with my envisioning of the emerging gold deposit. Plus, their diagrams give me the basic confidence that we’ll get full marks come the buyout for whatever *is* there.
Lest we forget that the Upper Antino Zone is only the jumping-off point for the property’s resource, we are shown a slide (p12) of the larger Buese Zone. Larger in dimension certainly. Possibly larger in total ounces? We shall see. Upper Antino is setting quite a fast pace of growth. A fun horse race between our various zones. This slide shows the Buese auger results better due to the zoomed-in scale.
And our deck certainly wouldn’t be complete without some deeper discussion (p13) of those near-magical piles of tailings. Quite unique among exploration plays, and acting, in our case, as extra inducement to a major to get on with making us an offer we (delightfully) can’t refuse.
On to the wrap up, showing the details (p14) of our property option in simple, plain terms. Surely, we’ll have no difficulty in meeting all of the requirements without even breaking a sweat. And sooner than anticipated.
A final Churchillian “tell ’em what you told ’em” run-through (p15), including some additional detail mixed in for colour. The only thing to do now is to introduce (p16) your crack team who’ve made all this happen: management and directors. Which seems to contain plenty of hard-science education, relevant experience, and implied top-level business connections - plus good old-fashioned hustle and elbow-grease.
Some final eye-pleasing visuals and we’re done. Our story is told, to one and all who care to view the file. Nothing like a concise, attention-grabbing presentation to instill confidence in the reality behind the pixels: gold! And plenty of it.
Have fun at the conference today, everyone who’s going.
