RE:RE:RE:Over a month now and no news !!!Redwine12345, understand what you are saying but there has to be exceptions to that general rule. LABS did not announce anything for around 6 months that they were in negotiations with VIVO to acquire them. Material news, not sure, could be defined as something that has an immediate impact to the balance sheet/income statement. There could be very big news pending but until what ever that news is commercialized, they may not have to announce it immediately.
Here's an example of what I'm talking about. The FDA has approved the New Drug Application that LABS and their global pharma partner have been working on together. Does it have a TRUE material impact immediately relative to the FDA approval? From my understanding the FDA approval does not immediately impact the balance sheet or the earnings statements because the FDA approval has to be commercialized and in my own simple head I would say that upon direction from LABS that it will be commericalized on a fixed start date, then news would have to be released relative to that event.
It's an example reflecting law/regulation versus the emotional impact of the news would have on investors, ie...the stock price rising because of the news but the news has not been commercilaized yet.
That is kind of where my head is at for the time being.
