Birch Hill is the Largest Shareholder, but...Birch Hill is the largest shareholder in TWM with just under 25% of shares, but does not appear to own any Renewables shares so their ownership of the combined entity is probably only 20%. They have a couple of Director positions on the TWM Board and with the recent management "shuffle" have put one of their own people in to run TWM. Not something the rest of the shareholders voted for. While 75% of TWM shares are not controlled by Birch Hill or management, the rest of the shareholders appear to be in the dark about what is really going on. It would be nice to know what the plan is since the share price has now dropped back to where it was before the Pipestone sale closure put $675 million into the company. Unfortunately it does not appear that any of the other large shareholders are large enough to exert much influence. However it is worth noting that Birch Hill's ownership share is a long way from being large enough to carry any decision that requires a shareholder vote so eventually the rest of us may get to have a say.
I hope Birch Hill has a plan that will benefit all the shareholders and that whatever they decide to do meets with the approval of the rest of the shareholders.
