North America is building quite a few battery plants, so where are they going to get the lithium? Definitely from North America. I'm no expert, but i would think clay deposits would be substantially cheaper to produce than hard rock deposits.
The statement " This won't be commercial to extract " is pure nonsense, especially in a friendly jurisdiction like Nevada.
With Canada as much as saying gas vehicles will be phased out by 2035, that really speaks of increased demand for battery metals.
